Daniel Salvatore-DeMars, Viticulturist, PCA

Daniel was born and raised in Aptos, Ca, just north of Watsonville and the Salinas Valley. When he wasn’t in school or playing organized sports, he was outside exploring the redwood forests, apple orchards and the beaches that he was surrounded by. This is where he fell in love with being outside. He found his passion for growing grapes while earning his BA in Crop Science and a minor in Plant Protection Science at CalPoly San Luis Obispo. He worked at the vineyard on campus where they grew Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Tempranillo. Shortly after graduation, Daniel became a licensed Pest Control Adviser.  As a hand laborer and tractor driver on the campus vineyard, he enjoyed learning and performing all the basic cultural practices. Being in the vineyard reminds him of his days as a kid hiking through the hills and forests while taking in all the beauty that the world has to offer.

Daniel is in charge of the day to day operations: organizing and supervising the hand labor crews, tractor drivers and special projects. He is the main point of contact for our clients and manages winery relations. 

Reyna Dean, Office Manager

Reyna was born in Santa Paula, CA and now lives in Glen Ellen, CA with her husband David.

As a young child, she travelled with her family overseas and then ended up in the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico where she attended most of her school years.

Reyna started working with Carneros Vineyard Management in 2007. Her responsibilities as Office Manager include bookkeeping, payroll, maintaining financial and safety records and making sure all conditions of employment are in order.

Reyna is a vital component to the team and the future success of our company.
